From 8 till 10 May for the second time in our temple was organized a
Summer Camp for grihastha Devotees after the last year's success.
Purna Progya Prabhu took the post of the event manager.
The accommodation for the Devotees was provided by the temple guest
house. So the matajis shared rooms with another matajis, and prabhus
with prabhus.
All together they every day came for the Mangala Arati and attended
all other temple programs and their day was fillies with different
activities. Every day they were given up to 6 lectures by different
Devotees on practicing Krishna Consciousness in a hously environment
and how to serve Krishna and His Devotees as a grihastha.
The last lecture of this wonderful festival was given by Ganganarayana
prabhu. It was rather a discussion about how the Devotees liked the
Summer Camp and the realisations they gained during that time living
in the temple. He asked what they remembered most from the lectures,
what they did hear for the first time so that it has touched their
hearts.
In my opinion it is a very interesting experience: to just retire from
mundane hously life and obligations and for 3 days to dive into temple
life for the whole day and to enjoy Krishna-katha in association with
devotees.
